Sunlight photo - Before and after

When I find a picture in my archive or take a photo that I'm not that happy with, I try to play in photoshop to maybe do it a little bit better. This is a example of that. Just take a look at this picture here:

 This is the original picture. When I took this into photoshop, I took auto tone and auto contrast on the whole picture, duplicated the background. and took auto color, then erased the sky, so the auto color just is on the water and mountain. Then I set the exposure and gamma correction to 0,30 on the sky, and I don't remember exactly on the rest. And all this easy work ended up with this:

What do you think of the final result? Not too much done, but it did a big difference in the photo!
